Our admissions office staff is dedicated to helping you in your application process to Trebas. You will find the admissions criteria and other useful information below. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us or make a request for information online.
To be admitted into a program of study offered by Trebas Institute, you must:
Possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12) or its equivalent, or have Mature Student Status (18 years of age or older)
Proof of Social Insurance Number and a valid government-issued Photo ID
Participate in an informal interview with an admissions counsellor
Candidates may be asked to provide additional information, including a portfolio or several samples of work in your chosen field, to determine their suitability for admission. If you do not have prior experiences or access to samples, we ask for a 500 word essay/letter of intent detailing your accomplishments, future goals and objectives.
Possession of the minimum admissions requirements does not, in itself, guarantee admission.
(Please note: you may still qualify if you are not a high school graduate, but you may be asked to do a WONDERLIC Basic Skills assessment in both English and Math)
Trebas Institute makes application for enrollment easy. The initial meeting and personal information session allows us to gain an understanding of you and your level of motivation. Candidates who meet the above admissions requirements may complete an Application for Enrollment online here
or at one of our campus locations. If you're not sure what would be best for you, Trebas Admissions staff will be happy to work with you to answer your questions and discuss your candidacy.
Financial Aid may be available for those who qualify. Admissions staff will be happy to help students discover their funding opportunities for studying at Trebas.
