Luc Gilbert

Sound Design / Studio Recording and Live Sound

Luc is a composer who has made an impact in the Canadian music industry. He has composed several pieces for television programs, radio and short films, including the composition and arrangement for one of Quebec’s most popular shows, La Petite Vie. He also composed the music for numerous advertisements, including Air Canada, Mike’s, and Un gars une fille. He is behind the symphonic orchestration of several songs by Daniel Bélanger and Claude Dubois and has served as musical director and pianist for performances by various artists, including Ginette Reno, Francis Cabrel, and Marie-Michèle Desrosiers.
Well recognized by the industry, he has won two Félix awards for his role as arranger and producer on the album Ciel variable by Pierre Bertrand. He was also nominated for his contribution to the Cirque du Soleil’s Saltimbanco album and RochVoisine’s album, Helene.
