Film and Television Production

There is no other program in Quebec that offers so many practical production projects to work on! 

Master every aspect of your production! From screenwriting to post-production - and all the audio and visual techniques in between - you will have access to all the tools of production and techniques necessary to obtain professional results. Our instructors are industry professionals that will walk you through all the subtleties of video production.
 
Explore different equipment! From the HD video camera to the 4K definition, you will get the chance to develop your skills with many camera models during this program - there is even a planned exercise with the steadycam! You will also discover microphone and lighting techniques, "green screen" applications, and the television broadcasting console. Our post-production studio includes several workstations with more powerful video editing (ADOBE® and AVID®) and audio software (ProTools HD®).

Work on projects! Students will work on several projects related to different types of productions: short films, television commercials, web series, and several TV projects. Most shooting will be done outdoors and some are produce with an experience teacher on set. Some students choose to participate in our film festival - will you be the next winner?

Meet Our Pros (graduates) !

Marie-Pier, director/editor

As soon as she graduated, Marie-Pier made great use of her learnings and her versatility to climb the ladder in the television industry. Today, she has a successful career as a director/editor at Groupe TVA in the competitive sector of promotion. She won international awards with her recent work.

 

Olivier, cinematographer

Olivier is a graduate of our Film and Television production program who built on his learning by filming numerous skiing competitions, a sport he really likes. With his girlfriend, he now owns his own production company, Mimosa Média. Together they have worked on numerous web series, ads and music videos projects.
