Jeff Wright
Jeff has a degree in audio engineering, and has worked in the recording industry for over two decades. Starting out as a drummer, Jeff made the transition to Producer/Engineer after recording and touring around Ontario. Studying under famed producer Jack Richardson (Guess who, Alice Cooper, Kiss) he began his career as an assistant, then worked his way up to become an internationally respected freelance engineer. Over the past ten years Jeff has focused on recording animated television shows, which have gone on to receive numerous awards such as Gemini’s, Anix and Emmys. Some shows of note include MTV’s “Undergrads”,”Angela Anaconda”, Alicia Silverstones; “BraceFace” ,“Arthur” and “Franklin” to name a few. Jeff has also had the opportunity to work with some of Canada’s premier recording artists, such as Jellystone, Cowboy Junkies, and the Breit brothers, on labels such as Warner, EMI and Sony. Jeff teaches Sound and recording theory as well as heading up the Audio Department at Trebas.

Ian McCulloch
Ian’s first recording job was back in 1994, with Tony Mendez at Toronto’s World Studios. Since then, Ian has worked as a first or second engineer, or done tracking, overdubbing or mixing, on countless studio productions and live shows, working with artists such as Sue Medley, Dan Kershaw, Bob Snider, Leroy Sibbles, Devon, and Larry Gowan, among many others. In 1997, Ian built the Cannery Row studio in Toronto’s Kensington Market, followed three years later by his own Studio 120. Presently, Ian is taking over operations of the historic Kensington Sound studios in Toronto.

Buck Moore
With more than 20 years experience in the entertainment industry, Buck has engineered more than 2,500 hundred live shows. Along with his own career as an artist, Buck has worked on numerous film projects, written articles for MIX, OnStage and Canadian Musician Magazines, and been featured in many other publications. Buck also writes and directs short films, and has worked on film/video projects for the BBC, CBC, Bravo!, History Television, and the Royal Ontario Museum. Buck currently works under his BAM Media, setting up and mixing live shows, developing instructional videos, and writing screenplays.

Steven Sauve
A graduate of Montreal’s McGill University, Steven has been seriously involved in electronic music since the birth of MIDI. He has done extensive work in the new media industry as both a composer and sound designer, with clients such as Alias/Wavefront, ROM, Discis, Electramedia and Extendmedia. In addition to teaching at Trebas, Steven has also taught at Centennial College, Humber College, and York University.

Trevor Marshall
Trevor is a programmer and producer of club-based music (Drum & bass, jungle, house, hip-hop). Since 1998, he has worked on remixes and productions of radio and television commercials, television programs, and short films. His drum and bass CD, Moto, is the only recording in that genre to be catalogued in the National Library & Archives of Canada. Trevor’s independent drum & bass video Twist premiered on MuchMusic in 2001. His later 12-inch release, Don’t Worry About My Feelings, went into rotation on MTV Dance Sessions, the only Canadian independent video played on that program. Trevor is also one of the largest ringtone artists in the world, with more than 2,200 ringtones in his catalogue, sold in more than 25 countries.

Darius Szczepaniak
One of the top independent engineers/producers in Canada, Darius’s recording experience covers the spectrum, from rock, metal, techno, alternative and punk, to funk, jazz, blues, hip-hop, pop, dance and orchestral music. After starting his career at Metalworks Studios, Darius eventually moved over to Phase One Studios, where he worked his way up to become head engineer. Along the way, Darius has worked with artists such as Barenaked Ladies, Black Crowes, Big Sugar, and Jann Arden, earning two platinum awards in Japan and platinum and gold awards in Canada for his efforts.

Vincent Piette
A former Trebas graduate, Vincent Piette, has gone on to assist or engineer hundreds of sessions with various artists and producers.  He has worked as an assistant and engineer in various studios across North America, including the "Chop Shop" (Los Angeles) and Rouge Valley Studios (Toronto).  His credits include either assisting or engineering sessions with Tommy Lee, Rob Zombie, Toya Alexis, as well as hundreds of local bands/artists. Vince currently teaches protools and multitrack recording.

Steve Benford
A mastering engineer for over 10 years and a musician for over 20 years, Steve has worked at numerous studios and some of his credits include: Depeche Mode, Groove Armada, Planet Earth, Revolver, compilation albums Straight Up and Once a Thief, Staggered Crossing and many other independent releases. He also received a Platinum Album for his work on one of the songs contributed to “Women and Songs 7.” Steve currently teaches Protools and Mixing & Mastering.

Robertson Holt, B. A.
Robertson has had a varied and active career spanning the video game, music and film industries. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, he entered into the professional creative world fulfilling many roles from Filmmaker to Voice Actor to Club Manager. He has taught at several school over the past decade and guest lectured for Chapters, Universities, OCAD and the American Psychological Association.
Robertson teaches Flash and gaming audio.

David Ritch
Moving to Toronto at the age of twenty to pursue a career in entertainment,  David worked for several years in the service industry, becoming a restaurant manager. After realizing his dream, David attended Trebas to focus on a career in the music and entertainment industry. After graduating at the top of his class, he was asked to help monitor student labs. He continues to mold his career in post-production for Film and Video. David currently oversees Audio for video post labs.

Robert M. Johnstone
A Toronto based music producer and performer, Robert was trained in classical violin from the age of three and performed regularly throughout his university years, thus the foundation was created for a career as a Classical Musician.  However, after obtaining a mismatched pair of turntables and a dusty crate of early 90’s hip-hop and house music, his addiction to DJing was formed. Johnstone chose to further his education by obtaining an Audio Engineering and Technology diploma. Upon graduating, he has taken extensive post-graduate courses, specializing in the implementation of MIDI controllers and human interface design using Max/MSP allowing him to explore the endless capabilities of sound created through electronic circuitry and computers.

A lifelong performer, Robert is forging new pathways in the field of computer-aided live performance and can be found on stage fusing electronic music with live violin under the alias "Mason Bach".  Additionally, Robert has completed original works for Television, Film and Interactive Multimedia, blending the traditions of the classics with the vast diversity of contemporary electronic music.  Rob currently teaches DJ Arts and technology.
