Communications & Marketing Module
The ability to effectively communicate one's message, whether it be to sell your services to a major corporation or to introduce a special guest speaker, is paramount to a successful career in this industry. The communications portion of this module is designed to sculpt a highly refined skill set that can be adapted to any situation. Through a blending of theory, lab and written assignemnts, participants are able to hone their communication skills.
For any event to be successful the Event Planner must "get the word out". The quality and effectiveness of the marketing plan will either make or break an event. Students gain an in-depth understanding of dynamic marketing tools, and the need for well designed and written advertising materials.
