Born in Quebec City, Jean Bergeron studied pure sciences before turning his interest to the world of communications. He won many awards in London, Shanghai, Rome, Montreal, Cannes and New York and most of his films are shown on all continents. Bergeron is an eclectic blend of filmmaker, screenwriter, novelist and popular science writer. His rigorous approach to all subject matters provides for solid content, wonderful images, impeccable craftsmanship and an appeal to all types of viewers.

Screenwriter and aerial director of the first action film Imax 3D, Bergeron is now focusing his attention on a mode of expression that one would think tailor-made for him: author's documentary. That doesn’t prevent him, as a teacher, from enjoying sharing his knowledge.
