Rasoul Morteza holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University, specializing in musical acoustics and digital audio signal processing, and is currently pursuing a Specialized Graduate Diploma (DESS) in Digital Music at the Université de Montréal. Rasoul has worked on various projects as a music assistant, orchestral mixing engineer, and audio director, contributing to documentaries, video games, and virtual reality (VR) content. He is proficient in multiple audio software programs and has taught courses in sound design and video game audio at Trebas Institute Quebec Inc. and Recording Arts Canada. Rasoul is a self-taught composer and sound designer for films and video games, based in Montreal, Canada. He runs Universal Scoring, focusing on simplicity in effective musical ideas. His interests extend to spatial audio recording and production in Ambisonics for films and video games. Rasoul is an accomplished composer, sound designer, and audio producer with extensive experience in the fields of video game audio, film scoring, and 3D/spatial audio. He is fluent in English, French, and Persian.
