Sandy Daley - Producer, Social Activist, Actress and Radio and Television Personality and Emerging Filmmaker
Sandy Daley, an award-winning showrunner, producer, actress, and activist from Kingston, Jamaica, now based in Toronto, starred in Another Planet, Canada's first feature film by a Black woman. Her column, "Real Talk With Sandy," earned a Spirit Award in 2009. Daley's book Whose Vagina Is It, Really? was adapted into a play. She founded the "Whose Body Is It, Really? Empowerment Symposium" and "Mothers Against Violence Against Black Children" and received awards from Centennial College and Ryerson University.
