Scholarships and Grants

Trebas Institute’s grants are intended to provide tuition support for prospective domestic and international students to make quality education more accessible.

Our grants and scholarships are applicable to all our 2021 and 2022 intakes, including January 2023 intake. Note that there may be changes to tuition amounts and/or other fees during the time this application is in effect;

Trebas Institute’s grant or scholarship recipients are expected to act as ambassadors and participate in outreach and alumni engagement initiatives in their home region for Trebas Institute once the grant is granted.

A grant or a scholarship cannot be combined with any other grant or scholarship, it has no cash value and cannot be transferred.

The International Tech Grant

Applicable Programs:

  • LEA.DT: Analytics, Big Data and Business Intelligence

  • LEA.DU: Computer Security Analyst

We offer the International Tech Grant to provide tuition support and make Canadian education more attainable to international students from the countries listed below.

$10,000 (CAD) grant ($5,000 (CAD) per study year) will automatically be applied to new students from the countries listed applying before December 31st, 2022 to Analytics Big Data and Business Intelligence, Computer Security Analyst program at Montreal campus.

Continuance: Recipients must remain in good academic standing to continue to receive this grant (year 2).

Eligibility:

a- The International Tech Grant is applicable to all our 2021 and 2022 intakes, including January 2023 intake. Note that there may be changes to tuition amounts and/or other fees during the time this application is in effect;

b- Failure to maintain the minimum requirement(s) for the grant will result in the suspension of disbursements until satisfactory performance is re-established and eligibility is re-approved by Trebas Institute’s President;

c- Trebas Institute’s International Tech Grant recipients are expected to act as ambassadors and participate in outreach and alumni engagement initiatives in their home region for Trebas Institute once the grant is granted.

 

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Trebas Institute’s International Tech Grant is open to: Any new international students from the countries listed below.

Number of grants: Trebas Institute’s International Tech Grant will be awarded each term to all new applicants for admission.

Grant value: Trebas Institute’s International Tech Grant has a value of $10,000 CAD and will be disbursed as a tuition credit. Disbursements will be pro-rated based on the number of courses in which the student is registered.

Eligibility: Candidates will be considered for the International Tech Grant based on the date of their admission to Trebas Institute.

To remain eligible for the Trebas Institute’s International Tech Grant and receive the tuition disbursement students must complete their ACS/AEC program within 24 months of starting the program and remain in good academic and financial standing during the time of their disbursements. This grant cannot be combined with any other grant, it has no cash value and cannot be transferred.

The Tech Grant - Domestic Students

Applicable Programs:

  • LEA.DT: Analytics, Big Data and Business Intelligence

We offer The Tech Grant for domestic students to provide tuition support and make Canadian education more attainable.

Analytics, Big Data and Business Intelligence:
$4,000 (CAD) will automatically be applied to new domestic students applying before December 31st, 2022 to our Analytics, Big Data and Business Intelligence program at Montreal campus.

Computer Security Analyst:
$2,000 (CAD) will automatically be applied to new domestic students applying before December 31st, 2022 to our Computer Security Analyst program at Montreal campus.

Grant value: Trebas Institute’s Tech Grant - Domestic Students has a value of $4,000 CAD for our Analytics, Big Data and Business Intelligence and a value of $2,000 for our Computer Security Analyst. The grant will be disbursed as a tuition credit. Disbursements will be pro-rated based on the number of courses in which the student is registered.

Eligibility: Candidates will be considered for the Tech Grant - Domestic Students based on the date of their admission to Trebas Institute.

Toronto Campus

Trebas Institute offers the Nurturing Talents Scholarship, worth $4,000, to provide tuition support and make Canadian education more attainable to students.

Scholarship Amount: $4000

Criteria:

Trebas Institute’s Scholarship is intended to provide tuition support for prospective students to make quality education more accessible.

 

This scholarship is available to new students, applying to the following programs at our Toronto Campus:

 

  • Audio Engineering & Production / DJ Arts

  • Entertainment Management

  • Film & Television Production and Post-Production

 

Eligibility:

a- Our grants and scholarships are applicable to all our 2021 and 2022 intakes, including January 2023 intake. Note that there may be changes to tuition amounts and/or other fees during the time this application is in effect;

b- Failure to maintain the minimum requirement(s) for the scholarship will result in the suspension of disbursements until satisfactory performance is re-established and eligibility is re-approved by Trebas Institute’s President;

c- Trebas Institute’s Nurturing Talents Scholarship recipients are expected to act as ambassadors and participate in outreach and alumni engagement initiatives in their home region for Trebas Institute once the grant is granted.

d- To remain eligible for a scholarship and receive the tuition disbursement students must complete their diploma program within 12 months of starting the program and remain in good academic and financial standing during the time of their disbursements. A scholarship cannot be combined with any other grant or scholarship, it has no cash value and cannot be transferred.

Number of scholarships: Trebas Institute’s Nurturing Talents Scholarship will be awarded each term to all new applicants for admission.

Scholarship value: Trebas Institute’s Nurturing Talents Scholarship has a value of $4,000 CAD and will be disbursed as a tuition credit. Disbursements will be pro-rated based on the number of courses in which the student is registered.

Eligibility: Candidates will be considered for the Nurturing Talents Scholarship based on the date of their admission to Trebas Institute.

Montreal Campus:

Trebas Institute offers the Nurturing Talents Scholarship, worth $4,000, to provide tuition support and make Canadian education more attainable to students.

  

Scholarship Amount: $4000

 

Trebas Institute’s Scholarship is intended to provide tuition support for prospective students to make quality education more accessible.

This scholarship is available to new students, applying to the following ACS/AEC programs at our Montreal Campus:

 

  • NWY.1F: Film & Television Production

  • NNC.0V: Sound Design

  • NNC.0E: Music Business Administration

Trebas Institute’s Diversity Grant is intended to provide tuition support for prospective international students to make quality education more accessible.

Trebas Institute’s Diversity Grant is available to new international students, applying to the following two (2) years ACS/AEC programs:

e-Commerce and Online Business Management program
Grant value: 
Trebas Institute’s Diversity Grant has a value of $4,000 CAD and will be disbursed as a tuition credit. Disbursements will be pro-rated based on the number of courses in which the student is registered.

Computer Security Analyst program
Grant value: Trebas Institute’s Diversity Grant has a value of $7,200 CAD and will be disbursed as a tuition credit. Disbursements will be pro-rated based on the number of courses in which the student is registered.

Analytics, Big Data and Business Intelligence program
Grant value: Trebas Institute’s Diversity Grant has a value of $7,200 CAD and will be disbursed as a tuition credit. Disbursements will be pro-rated based on the number of courses in which the student is registered.

Eligibility: Candidates will be considered for the Diversity Grant based on the date of their admission to Trebas Institute.

The Canadian Diversity Grant

Trebas Institute’s Canadian Diversity Grant is intended to provide tuition support for international prospective students that have a valid study permit and have landed in Canada to make quality education more accessible. 

 

  1. TREBAS INSTITUTE’S CANADIAN DIVERSITY GRANT REGULATIONS

Trebas Institute’s Canadian Diversity Grant is available to new international students that have a valid study permit and have landed in Canada, applying to the following two (2) years ACS/AEC programs:

  1. NWY.1Y: Audio and Video Post-Production

  2. LCA.FQ: e-Commerce and Online Business Management

  3. LEA.DT: Analytics, Big Data and Business Intelligence

  4. LEA.DU: Computer Security Analyst

b- Trebas Institute’s Canadian Diversity Grant recipients will be issued as a credit towards their tuition fees of the second term they register;

c- Failure to maintain the minimum requirement(s) for the grant will result in the suspension of disbursements until satisfactory performance is re-established and eligibility is re-approved by Trebas Institute’s President;

d- Trebas Institute’s Canadian Diversity Grant recipients are expected to act as ambassadors and participate in outreach and alumni engagement initiatives in their home region for Trebas Institute once the grant is granted.

 

  1. TERMS OF REFERENCE

Trebas Institute’s Canadian Diversity Grant is open to: new international students that have a valid Visa Approval Letter/Study permit from another institution/DLI and have landed in Canada

Number of grants: Trebas Institute’s Canadian Diversity Grant will be awarded each term to all new applicants for admission.

Grant value: Trebas Institute’s Canadian Diversity Grant has a value of $1,500.00 CAD and will be disbursed as a tuition credit. Disbursements will be issued towards their second term of their registration.

Eligibility: Candidates will be considered for the Canadian Diversity Grant based on the date of their admission to Trebas Institute.

To remain eligible for the Trebas Institute’s Diversity Grant and receive the tuition disbursement students must complete their ACS/AEC program within 24 months of starting the program and remain in good academic and financial standing during the time of their disbursements. This grant can only be combined with the Diversity Grant, it has no cash value and cannot be transferred.

L’Héritage Scholarship

 

Applicable Programs:

  • LCA.FQ: E-Commerce and Online Business Management

  • NWY.1Y: Audio and Video Post-Production

We offer l’Héritage Scholarship to provide tuition support to make Canadian education more attainable to French speaking countries and Overseas France.

$10,000 (CAD) scholarship ($5,000 (CAD) per study year) will automatically be applied to new students from the countries listed. All applications must be end before December 31st, 2022 to Trebas Institute E-Commerce & Online Business Management, Audio and Video Post-Production program at Montreal campus.

Continuance: Recipients must remain in good academic standing to continue to receive this scholarship (year 2).

Scholarship value: Trebas Institute’s l’Héritage Scholarship has a value of $10,000 CAD and will be disbursed as a tuition credit. Disbursements will be pro-rated based on the number of courses in which the student is registered.

Eligibility: Candidates will be considered for l’Héritage Scholarship based on the date of their admission to Trebas Institute.

Trebas Institute offers the SEA Regional Grant to provide tuition support and make Canadian education more attainable to students from the Southeast Asia countries and Korea.

$10,000 (CAD) grant ($5,000 (CAD) per study year) will automatically be applied to new students from the countries listed applying before December 31st, 2022 to Trebas Institute E-Commerce & Online Business Management, Audio and Video Post-Production program at Montreal campus.

Continuance: Recipients must remain in good academic standing to continue to receive this grant (year 2).
