Scholarships and Grants - Domestic Students - Toronto

Our grants are intended to provide tuition support for prospective domestic students to make quality education more accessible.

Our grants and scholarships are applicable when applying for any intake until Dec. 31st, 2024. Please note that there may be changes to tuition amounts and/or other fees during the time they are in effect.

A grant or a scholarship cannot be combined with any other grant or scholarship, it has no cash value and cannot be transferred.

The Canadian Hero Scholarship has been established to support members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) community in recognition of their sacrifices and dedication.

Amount: Eligible recipients will receive 10% off the final tuition rate in recognition of their service to this country.

Eligibility: Qualify as a CAF community member and have a valid CF One card. For more details, please refer to https://cfmws.ca/.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The student must commence their program before their offer for admission expires
  2. The student must not change programs
  3. The student must pay all fees (that are not covered by the award) by their respective due dates
  4. The student must maintain good academic standing
  5. The student must maintain full-time enrollment status

Trebas Sherryl K Scholarship EN

Sherryl Kintu Scholarship Fund
Fully funded by: Trebas Institute Ontario Inc. / Global University Systems
Open: to all applicants for our creative programs at Trebas Institute Ontario Inc. A maximum of two (2) students will receive the award.
Amount: 100% on the full tuition fee of your study program
Deadline: July 2024

Sherryl Kintu Scholarship fully funded now available for students at Trebas Institute Ontario Inc.


About the scholarship: The Sherryl Kintu Scholarship scheme was set up as a tribute to, and in recognition of, the passions and interests of Sherryl Kintu, who was a dedicated employee of Global University Systems for 9 years where she rose from Executive Assistant to a Director level position. Sherryl sadly passed away in April 2021. Sherryl was known as a trustworthy friend to individuals and the company, with a passion and drive for everything she did. Applicants to this scholarship are expected to reflect these qualities. 


The aims and objectives of this scholarship are guided by the ideas and thoughts of Sherryl’s family and friends, and ultimately to drive the success of a worthy individuals in the directions Sherryl would have wished.


The scholarships are supported by the Executive CEO and Founder of Global University systems in recognition of Sherryl’s contribution.


Sherryl was passionate about the Entrepreneurial spirit of Black women, and also a highly creative person in the Arts. It is these areas of study and career progression that the scholarship supports. In assessing your application, the Sherryl Kintu Fund Board (SKFB) will look for a plausible successful outcome in line with aims and objectives of the scholarship.

In particular:

  • The overall quality of your application - clear evidence of ‘passion’, ‘drive’, creativity and ambition will carry particular weight
  • The apparent need for funding
  • The goals and progression you will achieve arising from the Scholarship

Eligible Programs: Film and TV Production and Post-Production, Audio Engineering and Production/DJ Arts.

We offer the Creative Grant to provide tuition support and make Canadian education more attainable to our domestic students at Toronto campus

Up to $2,000 (CAD) grant will automatically be applied to new students for our 2024 intakes at Toronto campus.

Eligibility:

a- Our grants and scholarships are applicable to all our 2024 intakes. Note that there may be changes to tuition amounts and/or other fees during the time this application is in effect;

b- Trebas Institute’s Creative Grant recipients are expected to act as ambassadors and participate in outreach and alumni engagement initiatives in their home region for Trebas Institute once the grant is granted.

c- To remain eligible for a grant and receive the tuition disbursement students must complete their diploma program within 12 months of starting the program and remain in good academic and financial standing during the time of their disbursements. A scholarship cannot be combined with any other grant or scholarship, it has no cash value and cannot be transferred.

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Trebas Institute’s Creative Grant is open to: Any new domestic students.

Number of grants: Trebas Institute’s Creative Grant will be awarded each term to all new applicants for admission.

Grant value: Trebas Institute’s Creative Grant has a value can go up to $2,000 CAD and will be disbursed as a tuition credit. Disbursements will be pro-rated based on the number of courses in which the student is registered.

Eligibility: Candidates will be considered for the Creative Grant based on the date of their admission to Trebas Institute.

We offer the Tech Grant to provide tuition support and make Canadian education more attainable to our domestic students.

Up to $500 (CAD) grant will automatically be applied to new students, applying for 2024 intakes at Toronto campus.
