Trebas Institute Launches The Americas Grant

As part of our mission to make Canadian education more attainable for international students, Trebas Institute is introducing the Americas Grant. The grant will allow students applying from Central America, North America, South America and the Caribbean to receive a grant which will be put towards either the E-commerce and Online Business Management program or the Audio and Video Post-production program at Trebas Institute’s Montreal campus.

Students who apply before 31 December 2022 will automatically be awarded the $10,000 (CAD) grant. As each program is two-years long, students will receive $5,000 (CAD) per study year, providing they remain in good academic standing.

This is an excellent opportunity for students from these regions to study at an institution that is committed to nurturing talent and developing leaders. Since its establishment in 1979, Trebas Institute has taught over 3,000 graduates from over 40 different countries, helping them to achieve their ambitions of working in the creative industries. Whilst studying at Trebas Institute, students have access to state-of-the-art equipment including sign-out labs, studios and filmmaking gear as well as exposure to a vast network of industry professionals.

E-commerce and Online Business Management program

The E-commerce and Online Business Management program is designed to teach students how to conduct business online as well as build a strong digital presence. Throughout the program, students will use industry-standard software, preparing them for a number of roles within the digital marketing and e-commerce sectors.

Modules on the program include: Starting an Online Business, Social Media Management, Online Promotion and Digital Advertising, and Business and Sales Presentations. 

Audio and Video Post-production program

The Audio and Video Post-production program will help you to bring your ideas to life through the medium of film. Through highly-specialized training, delivered by industry experts, you’ll learn core skills in the areas of Foley, automatic dialogue replacement, sound editing and mixing as well as video editing.

Modules on this program include: The Post-Production Industry, Music in Video: Practical Analysis, 3D Animation and Digital Overlay Graphic Design.
