Overview of Term 1

During this session, you will learn to master the fundamental skills to practise a profession as a supply chain manager. You will discover the principles of the procurement function, interpersonal relationships and IT management. You will be introduced to mathematics applied to procurement, international trade and effective communication.

  • Procurement Manager Profession – 60 hours

Overview of Term 2

During this session, you will learn to: develop skills in IT, communication in English, inventory management and selection of sources of supply. You will be able to produce computer applications meeting administrative needs, communicate effectively in English in a business context, plan and measure the quality of a product or service, as well as manage inventory and acquisition of goods and services.

Overview of Term 3

During this session, you will learn how to: plan procurement, manage inventory and quality, communicate effectively in English, work in a team and negotiate with stakeholders. You will be able to meet administrative needs, communicate effectively and improve product quality.

  • Negotiation – 60 hours

Overview of Term 4

During this session, you will learn how to: research the information necessary to carry out international business transactions, analyze the associated risks and collaborate in the preparation of the marketing strategy. You will also learn to communicate effectively in English, use technological tools to improve supply management and contribute to integrated quality management.

Overview of Term 5

During this session, you will put into practice and integrate the personal and professional skills necessary to manage logistics and apply supply chain management strategies. You will have the opportunity, through a 240-hour internship, to integrate all the learning from your program.

Skills and Competencies

Students will acquire a comprehensive understanding of supply chains and logistics, enabling them to work as supply chain coordinators with these essential skills:

  • Use statistical techniques to estimate future needs for raw materials and finished products, and determine optimal inventory levels to minimize storage costs.
  • Identify, evaluate and negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, including prices, delivery times and payment terms.
  • Issue purchase orders, monitor deliveries and stock levels and manage replenishments.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key suppliers to improve supply chain coordination and performance.
  • Coordinate the transport and distribution of purchased goods.
  • Analyze risks linked to suppliers and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Use software and analytics to optimize procurement processes and efficiency.
