Film and television production significantly shapes global culture and drives economic growth through diverse storytelling and media distribution. The industry is consistently evolving with advancements in technology and storytelling techniques, enhancing its impact.
In Quebec, film and TV production remains central to the cultural and economic landscape. Montreal and Quebec City have grown as vibrant hubs, with an increased number of film festivals, production studios and creative talent. The province’s blend of French and English influences continues to enrich its media offerings, solidifying Quebec's role as a key player in both Canadian and international markets.
Olivier Normandin discovered his passion for capturing special moments through photography, video creation and editing while working with friends. This enthusiasm led him to join the Film and TV Production program, where he honed his skills. Today, Olivier has co-founded Mimosa Média, where he excels as a photo director and editor.
I joined the Film and TV Production program at Trebas Institute Quebec Inc. for its hands-on approach and the opportunity to learn from passionate industry professionals. Their enthusiasm is evident throughout the course, equipping us with diverse skills and versatility.
