Our grants are intended to provide tuition support for prospective international students to make quality education more accessible.

Our grants and scholarships are applicable when applying for any intake until December 31, 2025. Please note that there may be changes to tuition amounts and/or other fees during the time they are in effect.

A grant or a scholarship cannot be combined with any other grant or scholarship, it has no cash value and cannot be transferred.

Sherryl Kintu Scholarship fully funded now available for students at Trebas Institute Quebec Inc.

About the scholarship: The Sherryl Kintu Scholarship scheme was set up as a tribute to, and in recognition of, the passions and interests of Sherryl Kintu, who was a dedicated employee of Global University Systems for 9 years where she rose from Executive Assistant to a Director level position. Sherryl sadly passed away in April 2021. Sherryl was known as a trustworthy friend to individuals and the company, with a passion and drive for everything she did. Applicants to this scholarship are expected to reflect these qualities. 

The aims and objectives of this scholarship are guided by the ideas and thoughts of Sherryl’s family and friends, and ultimately to drive the success of a worthy individuals in the directions Sherryl would have wished.

The scholarships are supported by the Executive CEO and Founder of Global University systems in recognition of Sherryl’s contribution.

Sherryl was passionate about the Entrepreneurial spirit of Black women, and also a highly creative person in the Arts. It is these areas of study and career progression that the scholarship supports. In assessing your application, the Sherryl Kintu Fund Board (SKFB) will look for a plausible successful outcome in line with aims and objectives of the scholarship.


In particular:

  • The overall quality of your application - clear evidence of ‘passion’, ‘drive’, creativity and ambition will carry particular weight
  • The apparent need for funding
  • The goals and progression you will achieve arising from the Scholarship

The Creative Grant aims to provide tuition support for all domestic students applying to the following programs at Trebas Institute Quebec Inc. before December 31, 2025:

  • NWY.1F: Film and Television Production
  • NWY.1Y: Audio and Video Post-Production
  • NNC.0V: Sound Design

All individuals who apply to Trebas Institute Quebec Inc. before December 31, 2025, will also automatically receive the Emerging Talent Grant.

*$50 admission fee and $200 enrolment fee not included in tuition fees and not covered by grants.

**Recipients of the Creative Grant will also receive the Emerging Talent Grant in conjunction with the Creative Grant until December 31, 2025.


Eligibility

  1. The Creative Grant is available until December 31, 2025, to international students applying to the following Trebas Institute Quebec Inc. programs:
    • NWY.1F: Film and Television Production
    • NWY.1Y: Audio and Video Post-Production

  2. The Emerging Talent Grant is available to all international student applicants to Trebas Institute Quebec Inc. until December 31, 2025, and only in conjunction with the Creative Grant, Business Grant and Tech Grant.


Terms & Conditions

  1. The Creative Grant may not be transferred or combined with any other promotion, grant or scholarship (excluding the Emerging Talent Grant) and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  2. The Emerging Talent Grant may not be transferred or combined with any other promotion, grant or scholarship (excluding the Creative, Business and Tech grants) and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  3. The combined total of all applicable grants will be deducted from the total tuition fees for a program of study, excluding a $50 admission fee and $200 enrolment fee. Grants and scholarships cannot be applied to the admission or enrolment fees.
  4. In the case of withdrawal from a program, the grant will no longer be valid. All withdrawal and tuition refund requests must comply with Trebas Institute Quebec Inc.’s Refund Policy.
  5. Trebas Institute Quebec Inc. reserves the right to cancel the grant and/or change the amount, eligibility and terms and conditions of this grant at any time and without prior notice, at its sole discretion.
  6. Tuition fees listed are estimates and vary based on program type and duration. Tuition fees are subject to change. Please contact info@trebas.com for the most up-to-date information regarding tuition fees.
  7. Recipients of the grant must complete their Attestation of College Studies (ACS) program and maintain good academic standing (i.e., attaining a minimum passing grade) throughout their studies to remain eligible for the full grant amount.
  8. Recipients of the grant must maintain good financial standing (i.e., up to date on payments with no late payments) throughout their academic program to remain eligible for the full grant amount.
  9. All amounts are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).

The Business Grant aims to provide tuition support for all domestic students applying to the following programs at Trebas Institute Quebec Inc. before December 31, 2025:

  • NNC.0E: Music Business Administration
  • LCL.00: Show and Event Management
  • LCA.FQ: E-commerce and Online Business Management
  • LCA.GG: Business Administration
  • LCA.GH: Supply Chain Management

All individuals who apply to Trebas Institute Quebec Inc. before December 31, 2025, will also automatically receive the Emerging Talent Grant.

About the scholarship: A scholarship equivalent to the amount of tuition paid for a University Pathway Program (UPP) completed at The Language Gallery Canada (TLGC), up to a maximum of $3,000 CAD, will be awarded and applied towards the last fee instalment of a Trebas Institute Quebec Inc.' program (excluding certificate programs).

Effective date: between May 2024 and September 2025

Amount: Up to $3,000

Eligibility: International students who did not attend an English-based education system and who fulfil the following requirements:

  • Successfully complete an online or in-person UPP at TLGC prior to the start date of a post-secondary program (excluding certificate programs) at Trebas.
  • Navigate to the online application portal and select "GUS Canada Colleges Pathways Scholarship" in the scholarship section.
  • Include their UPP certificate and transcripts in their Trebas application prior to their post-secondary program’s start date.
  • Successfully complete the payment of all fee instalments up to the last fee instalment.


Terms of Reference

  1. The scholarship cannot be transferred or combined with any other offer, bursary or scholarship.
  2. Only students who have not attended an English-based education system are eligible.
  3. The scholarship is only valid for students starting their post-secondary programs (excluding certificate programs) between May 2024 and September 2025 at Trebas. The scholarship will not be applied for students who have started the post-secondary program outside these dates.
  4. Only the UPP tuition payments will be converted to the scholarship amount. Fees paid for books and registration will not be included in the scholarship amount.
  5. Any value paid for extra weeks outside the specified durations (8, 12, 16 or 20 weeks for online and 8 or 12 weeks for in-person) will not be included in the scholarship calculation.
  6. Any value paid for the UPP after the maximum scholarship amount ($3,000 CAD) has been achieved will not be converted into additional scholarship value for the post-secondary program.
  7. Any changes or cancellations to the student’s application for UPP is subject to the regular Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy of TLGC and any fees paid will not be converted to the scholarship.
  8. In case of withdrawal from the post-secondary program, the scholarship eligibility is no longer valid. Trebas’ Terms & Conditions and Refund Policies apply for such cases.
  9. All prices are listed in Canadian dollars.
  10. The outlined scholarship is discretionary and subject to change without notice.

The Family Scholarship has been established in order to support and encourage family members to join the Trebas Institute Quebec Inc. and help them to continue working to achieve their educational goals.

Any registered student who is in good academic and financial standing with the School and any prospective student that wishes to recommend a direct family member to Trebas Institute may apply to Trebas Institute Quebec Inc. Family Scholarship by filling out 
this form and sending it to info@trebas.com.

T&Cs: Only applies to specific programs and to a first-degree family relationship (Please reach out to the student advisor to find out about the needed proof documents).

Not applicable with any additional scholarship.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. The student who refers a family member must complete and sign this Family Scholarship Application with their personal and contact information.

2. The Family Scholarship Application must be submitted to Trebas Institute Quebec Inc. with the Admission Application form.

a. Eligible Secondary applicants include the following family members: spouse, sibling, parent, and child. To qualify, the students must provide proof of first-degree relationship.

Documents Accepted as Proof of First-Degree Family Relationship:

  • Siblings/Parents/Children: birth certificates
  • Spouses: marriage certificate
  • Partners: official documents under both names

b. All documents must be translated in English or French.

3. The discount (50%) will be applied to the second student (if one student is already attending) or the student with the lowest fees (if both students are prospective students).

4. Installment plans will not be available for the student receiving the discount. 50% deposit must be paid the first day of class + 50% First day of third term.

5. This Family scholarship cannot be combined with any other promotion or offer.

6. The scholarship will be available for all 2025 intakes.

7. If one of the students withdraw or cancel their application, the scholarship will become void and full fees will apply.

8. Trebas Institute Quebec Inc. reserves the right to modify, cancel, and limit this promotion.
