Pierre-Olivier Forest

Film & Television Instructor

With a technical as well as theoretical background, Pierre-Olivier Forest has worked in the field of university research, film and television creation. His experience also extends to teaching as a lecturer at University of Montreal.

Holder of a Master's degree in Film Studies from the Université de Montréal, he has also worked in creative research on the modes of the creative process and the training of creators.

He has experience as a director, assistant director, cameraman, editor and technical director. In particular, he did the camera, editing and contributed to the screenplay of a feature-length documentary (Il était six fois by Liane Simard) which has participated in numerous festivals and won awards (including Best Documentary, Children's International Cine Festival, India, 2016).

Alongside having taught at Trebas Institute for the past three years, Pierre-Olivier works as a freelance videographer as well as a web television director (multi-camera audio-visual production and live broadcasting).
