Micheal Delaney

After his studies in physics and communications, Michael Delaney launched his career in sound recording in 1978. He has worked in numerous recording studios, including Studio Six, Studio Tempo, Son Québec, Studio Morin Heights, Son Soleil and Studio VICTOR in Montreal. He also worked in many studios in the United States and in Europe. Winner of a Felix award and multiple Clio awards, Michael boasts credits on more than 30 gold and platinum records. He has collaborated with many artists such as Julos Beaucarne, Jim Corcoran, and Roch Voisine, to name a few and has also provided the music mix on many TV shows and films, including J’ai Tué Ma Mère by Xavier Dolan. Michael currently teaches music production, multitrack studio, digital studio and signal processing courses at Trebas Institute Quebec Inc. and has been on the board of Musée des ondes Emile Berliner since 2007. He is also editor-in-chief at La Voix de son maître and His Master’s Voice.
