History of Trebas Institute

Trebas Institute was founded by David P. Leonard in 1979 as a response to the growing need for proficient and versatile music recording & business professionals, film makers, and event planners. Trebas Institute is a film, entertainment and music production school that prides itself on comprehensive and practical hands-on training.  

With celebrated instructors who are experts in their fields and state-of-the art tools and facilities, Trebas Institute continues to provide exceptional industry-focused education in recording arts, film production, event planning and entertainment management.
 
Over the years, Trebas Institute has launched the careers of many highly respected and famous graduates. In the year 2012 alone, Trebas grads Michael Piersante, Noah "40" Shebib, and Megadeth guitarist/vocalist David Mustaine were nominated for a total of 7 Grammy awards.

Its legacy of highly successful graduates has allowed Trebas Institute to now provide two distinct and renowned campuses in Montreal and Toronto, with a wealth of excellent programs designed to prepare students for successful and rewarding careers in the entertainment industry.
