Admission Requirements

Our admissions office staff is dedicated to helping you in your application process to Trebas. You will find the admissions criteria and other useful information below. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us or make a request for information online.


Admission Criteria

  • Have a high school diploma (DES) or training considered sufficient* by Trebas Institute.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Meet one of the following conditions:
    • Have interrupted high school level studies for at least one academic year;
    • Be the subject of an agreement between the Institute and an employer or a government program;
    • Have completed at least one year of postsecondary education.

*By "training judged to be sufficient", Trebas Institute means:

  • The Quebec High School Diploma or Professional High School Diploma or higher;
  • For the person without a Quebec High School Diploma or Professional High School Diploma,the previous schooling and work experience will be studied by the college for admission;
  • The following documents must be provided:
    • Diploma, transcript, attestation of training or other equivalencies;
    • Curriculum vitae or description of previous work experience.

 

Application Process

Step 1: Make an appointment with an admissions counselor by phone at 514-845-4141 or by clicking here.

Step 2: With the help of an admissions counselor, gather the documents required for your admissions file. 

Required documents include:

  • A copy of your birth certificate issued by the Directeur de l’état civil du Québec
  • A copy of your transcript
  • A copy of your high school diploma (DES) or, for the Music Business Administration program, a copy of your college diploma (DEC)
  • Proof of citizenship or residency if born outside of Canada
  • A letter of motivation (1 page in length)
  • A copy of your curriculum vitae (Only for Music Business Administration program)

It should be noted that all documents must be in English or French.

Step 3: With the help of an admissions counselor and the head of student financial aid, determine the most appropriate payment method and complete, if necessary, the required documents.

Step 4: Pay registration fee of $200 (non-refundable).
 

Financial Aid and Tuition Fees

Trebas Institute is recognized by the Ministère de l’Éducation du Loisir et du Sport du Québec.  Students at Trebas might be eligible for financial aid assistance from l’Aide Financière aux études from the Ministère de l’Éducation du Québec.

Our financial aid student services will confirm your eligibility for the program.

Note: International students are not eligible for this program. However, Trebas offers these students the opportunity to make their payments by installments.

The Institute also welcomes applicants from Emploi Québec, Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CSST), Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ ) and others
 

Tuition
 

All students enrolled in a program at Trebas Institute must pay their tuition in order to graduate
