Students Shine at Canadian Women in Cybersecurity Conference

On May 14, 2024, Trebas Institute Toronto participated in the siberX Canadian Women in Cybersecurity conference. While there to connect with cybersecurity professionals and companies, Trebas also competed in the cybersecurity Capture the Flag competition.

The Canadian Women in Cybersecurity conference featured insightful keynote presentations, engaging panels, career conversations and immersive activities for both in-person and virtual attendees.

A group of talented cybersecurity students from Trebas competed in the exhilarating Capture the Flag competition. In this collaborative, hands-on competition, two Trebas students, Mohammad Nazir and Joseph Njoroge, reached the semi-final round. Their valiant effort, skill and commitment were commendable for this achievement.

Trebas Institute Toronto hosted a dedicated booth at the conference to connect with students, cybersecurity professionals and technology companies that employ cybersecurity students and graduates.

The Canadian Women in Cybersecurity conference was an exciting opportunity for Trebas Institute Toronto to make its mark on the cybersecurity industry while allowing students to showcase their exceptional cybersecurity skills in action.
